Upland Wirehairs Kennel is located in Dickinson ND, in the heart of Pheasant country.

    I have owned and raised wirehairs since 1982 when I purchases my first dog and fell in love with the breed. All of my dogs are bred and raised with the average foot hunter in mind. The wirehairs high intelligence, mellow temperament and passionate desire to hunt make them a very easy dog to train. We will breed only our dogs that have a high degree of natural ability and proven in the field.                                                                      Our wirehairs are to be pointers, retrievers, tracker & companions with the eagerness to produce game for his owner rather than for himself. During hunting season we hunt our dogs on a regular basis for upland game - grouse, huns, pheasants and waterfowl. During the off season they are worked on a daily basis in the yard, field and water-permitting. Beside hunting all of our dogs are also our companion and house pets.      

All our dogs are AKC and/or AKC/NAVHDA registered. Some are also navhda tested.
